Question:

We are using CelloSaaS “Audit trail” feature for capturing what modifications in an entity. As of now, the audit logs are maintained in a separate table in the database and the DB is configured in sql.config (in TrackingConnectionString).

Is it possible to have the audit logs in external database like AWS table storage?

Answer:

Yes, you could configure and connect to a different database to store and retrieve  Audit Logs irrespective of Amazon/Azure SQL Storage, but then you have to keep certain things in mind such as atomicity, transaction Scope, network latency etc, if the audit DB is located in different availability zone.
